October to March is the ideal season — pleasant weather, calm rivers and the best wildlife sightings. The forest remains open year-round, but the monsoon months (June–September) bring heavy rain and choppy waters, so we run limited departures then.
Tiger sightings can never be guaranteed — this is a true wild forest, not a zoo. That said, our naturalists know the creeks and watch towers well, and guests regularly spot pugmarks, deer, wild boar, crocodiles and exotic birds. The forest itself is spectacular even without a tiger sighting.
You don't need to worry about logistics — every package includes AC pickup from Kolkata (we usually gather near Park Street / Science City). We drive about 3.5 hours to Godkhali jetty, from where our cruise boats take you into the forest.
